CEO Message | Sarwar Foundation

I am incredibly proud of the life-changing work the Sarwar Foundation is delivering, and grateful to everyone involved in delivering our projects on the ground.

I established the Sarwar Foundation in 2000 to transform the lives of those in need.

We have achieved so much in the two decades since our launch. We opened the Sarwar Foundation Hospital in Rajana in 2004 and a second hospital in Chichawatni in 2008. In 2011, I was proud to lay the foundation stone of the Sarwar Foundation School

We later started clean drinking water projects in various districts of Punjab, and it has been an honour to open so many filtration plants in communities which previously had no access to clean water.

From our humble beginnings we have treated 1.7million hospital patients and over 500,000 patients in our medical camps, provided clean water to over 2million Pakistanis, and helped more than 20,000 women learn new skills. In 2019 we expanded and revamped the charity ahead of our 20th anniversary. We brought our global operations under one banner, launched the charity in America, and partnered with charities and organisations in Pakistan to save more lives and help those in need.

Driving change for a positive future, our priority will always be to dramatically improve the quality of life for the people of Pakistan. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over 20 years. We couldn’t deliver our life-changing work in Pakistan without the donations we receive, both large and small.

Poverty and inequality continue to blight Pakistan, with too many people needlessly suffering. With your generosity, we can build a better future and save and transform more lives.
